Walt Norley

Founder, Chairman & CEO, OnBalance

Walt Norley is a proven entrepreneur who has pioneered successful technology companies including OnLink and UgMO Technologies. UgMO Technologies was a leader in wireless soil monitoring and soil sensor systems enabling clients to save water, energy and money by using data to improve management intelligence in agriculture, commercial/residential properties, and golf courses and sports fields. From his previous experience, Walt launched OnLink – the industry’s first cloud-based platform for improving golf course management while gaining actionable insight into all course operations for golf courses, sports fields and universities. OnLink was successfully sold to Deere & Company in 2019. Additionally, Walt has been an Executive Advisor with BBH Capital Partners at Brown Bros Harriman, An Advisory Board member for IBM Smarter Cities, and President of IVG Composites, a Russian based advanced composites manufacturer. Walt’s continued successes in the technology sector has led him to be the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of OnBalance, focusing on converting data into valuable insights in mental healthcare. The cause is near and dear to Walt's heart – he has managed a bipolar disorder for over four decades and is a former Division I quarterback at Ohio State and Georgia. His drive behind creating OnBalance was simple: help save as many lives as possible and de-stigmatize the issue for those suffering in silence.
